Invest India supported NIDEC Global Appliances throughout its India expansion by conducting a comparative assessment of six states, providing policy analysis, land bank information and supply chain insights. The team facilitated multiple engagements with senior Maharashtra government officials, MIDC and AURIC authorities, coordinated site visits across several locations and enabled the signing of the MoU with the Government of Maharashtra.

Invest India also assisted the company during the land allotment process, supported its recognition as a Mega Investor, helped secure a customized incentive package, and facilitated the allotment of approximately 50 acres of land at Shendra. Additionally, Invest India positioned Maharashtra as a competitive manufacturing destination as the company evaluated India against other global manufacturing locations under its China+1 strategy.
