Invest India supported Carrier Midea India Pvt. Ltd. in establishing its new manufacturing and R&D facility by providing strategic guidance throughout the company's investment journey. The team worked closely with the company as it evaluated multiple investment destinations across Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh for the proposed facility to manufacture advanced chillers, commercial HVAC systems, heat exchangers and critical components.

The team also facilitated engagements with state governments, enabling Carrier Midea to compare investment propositions and identify the most suitable location for the project. These efforts contributed to the signing of an MoU with the Government of Andhra Pradesh and execution of the lease agreement. The project is expected to localise the production of advanced commercial HVAC systems and critical components, reducing import dependence while strengthening India's position as a preferred destination for high-value manufacturing investments.
