Invest India supported Chembond Material Technologies Pvt. Ltd. in identifying a suitable location for its greenfield manufacturing facility. The team evaluated the company's project requirements and shared suitable industrial land options across Gujarat, Maharashtra and Karnataka.

Considering the company's preference for a location in southern Maharashtra, Invest India also identified opportunities in neighbouring northern Karnataka, highlighting the advantages offered under the state's Beyond Bengaluru policy. Based on these inputs, Chembond selected the Kanagala Industrial Area in Belagavi district for its proposed manufacturing facility.

Invest India further coordinated with the Government of Karnataka to support the timely allotment of land and the issuance of the Khata number. These efforts contributed to the successful allotment of a 10-acre land parcel, paving the way for the company's investment of US$5.88 million and the creation of approximately 150 direct employment opportunities in Karnataka.
