Invest India supported Carlsberg's expansion in India by facilitating its proposed greenfield brewery project in Maharashtra through strategic guidance and continuous engagement with the company and key government stakeholders. Since 2024, the team has worked closely with Carlsberg to support its investment plans. Invest India coordinated meetings between the company's leadership and senior state government officials, while providing guidance on Maharashtra's industrial policies, incentive framework and suitable land options.

Invest India also coordinated with the Embassy of Denmark, DPIIT and relevant state authorities under the India–Denmark Fast Track Mechanism to support project implementation. These efforts contributed to the successful allotment of land at SUPA Parner Industrial Park, Ahilyanagar, enabling the company to advance its proposed investment.
