Invest India supported Proterial Ltd. in establishing its manufacturing facility in Andhra Pradesh by providing strategic guidance throughout the investment process. The team shared detailed insights into India's specialty steel ecosystem, highlighting market opportunities and growth potential for advanced electrical steel used in the power sector. Invest India also facilitated discussions with the Ministry of Steel to support the inclusion of Amorphous Cold Rolled Grain Oriented (CRGO) Steel under the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) Scheme for Specialty Steel.

These efforts contributed to the inclusion of Amorphous Steel in the revised PLI Scheme, creating a stronger investment case for the company. Invest India continued to support the project through its implementation, culminating in the successful commissioning and inauguration of Proterial's manufacturing facility at Sri City, Andhra Pradesh.
